A Film Director is a creative professional responsible for determining the artistic aspects of film production. Possessing a profound understanding of the art of film scripting is crucial for evaluating whether the script effectively conveys the plot to the audience. In addition, a film director must excel at collaborating with actors and various technicians to supervise the visual storytelling that brings the narrative to life.
In an era where the annual release of films is on the rise, the path to becoming a successful director requires professional training to navigate diverse challenges. The Film Director assumes a central role in the entire filmmaking process, engaging with actors, making crucial decisions, managing the budget, and ensuring an exceptional theatrical experience for the audience.
At V J Film House School of Cinema, we guide students through the intricacies of film directing with practical-oriented classes, offering industry placements to enhance their hands-on experience. Our support extends to pre-production and post-production phases, as well as promotion and social media visibility for student projects. Upon successful course completion, financial assistance for student productions is also made available, contributing to a comprehensive learning experience.
Course Duration:
- Regular: Monday to Friday - 10 am to 1 pm / 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm – 12 weeks
- Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm - 32 Sundays (8 months)
- 1 Year Diploma: Monday to Friday - 10 am to 1 pm – 12 months
