“The character comes alive if you believe in what you are doing”
– Lee Strasberg
Acting stands as an art form that serves as a conduit for storytelling through the portrayal of characters by actors. In the contemporary landscape, actors are in high demand, not just within cinema but across various platforms. The proliferation of OTT platforms and diverse social media outlets offers abundant opportunities for well-trained actors.
The craft of acting encompasses a broad spectrum of skills, including maintaining a relaxed body, cultivating a robust imagination, developing sensory memory, expressing oneself physically, adapting voice modulation as per the scenario, delivering clear speech, interpreting scripts, and possessing emotional versatility, among others. While natural talent is a foundation, it requires training and development for an actor to achieve success in the film industry.
At V J Film House School of Cinema, we focus on training students in realistic acting, preparing them for the nuances of acting for the screen. Our comprehensive curriculum includes rigorous training for auditions, acting for the camera, and active participation in real shooting exercises.
